China and Venezuela strengthen economic relations


China and Venezuela consolidate relations with bilateral agreements that will affect the Bolivarian National Agenda to strengthen and diversify the country’s economy.

Thus was reported by Ricardo Menendez, People’s Power Minister for Planning, who is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

The head of planning explained that agreements were signed to expand the Venezuelan oil market, as well as the possibility of increasing production in the country’s agricultural sector, in areas such as corn, rice, sorghum and cotton.

He reported that a road map was drawn up to expand the manufacturing plant in Anaco, which will be inaugurated by the National Government in the coming days.

Finally, the automotive sector is expected to expand the Chery factory in the country, and the implementation of the Sinotruk truck factory.

Menéndez said that “today there are several companies in the automotive, agricultural and energy sectors that want to invest in the country.”
