Starting this Sunday, the rapid early detection tests for Covid-19 will be increased in the country, thanks to the new kits that arrived from China along with other medical supplies and equipment to reinforce the care and prevention measures of Covid-19.
This was stated by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in a telephone contact with the “La Hojilla” (The Blade) program, which is broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
This Saturday, the first 500,000 rapid test kits arrived to the country from China for the deployment of the second offensive to contain the spread of Covid-19, as well as 55 tons of technical assistance with supplies, surgical equipment and medications to reinforce the National Government strategies in order to cut transmission chains and to protect the people.
In addition, have arrived ventilators and tomographs to reinforce the sentinel hospitals, as well as five million masks, 100,000 isolation suits, safety glasses, gloves and slippers for health personnel.
