The productive economic model will be strengthened in 2017

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated on Thursday his call to the public and private business sector of the country to join the efforts of the Government through the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, in order to build the new economic-productive model and to surpass the economic conjuncture product of the oil rentier model imposed in the 4th Republic.
“It’s time for all the entrepreneurs of the country … to take a step forward, take hold of my hands and let’s have a 2017 of expansion, of growth, I believe in you and I call you to work, to all sectors”, said the Head of State in a joint radio and television broadcast.
The President led the delivery of the housing number 1,300,000 of the Great Mission Housing Venezuela, given to the Mambel Molina family in the Ciudad Caribia housing complex, located between Caracas and Vargas state.
During this act he stressed that 2017 will be the first year of economic takeoff for a Venezuelan power.
“2016 is the first year of the end of the oil rentier economic model and 2017 will be the year of the beginning of a new productive economic model that will belong to everyone, a mixed one (…) where the cooperatives, the state-owned industries join”, said the Venezuelan President.
