The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced via her official channels on holding a meeting with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, qualified by the Head of State as a historic meeting for both nations.
According to what was expressed by the Dignitary, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and the development of a joint agenda in strategic areas such as energy, mining, security, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
In the statement was also made public the gratitude to the U.S. government for the support provided during the emergency caused by the earthquakes on June 24, as well as for the support manifested towards Venezuela’s reintegration into various international arenas and multilateral forums.
Likewise, in the message conveyed by the High Official was highlighted the intention to steer the historic ties between the two countries through ongoing dialogue, maintaining a foreign policy focused on achieving results and benefits for the nation.
