The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, thanked the deputies of the National Assembly for approving the Law on the Promotion and Protection of Housing Construction, a legal instrument aimed at increasing private and public investment in the development of new housing projects in the country.
The dignitary explained that the legal instrument, comprised of 40 articles and four chapters, will allow for attracting greater economic resources destined to the construction of housing, as well as providing timely assistance to families affected by the earthquakes that occurred last June 24.
«What will this law allow? It will allow for a greater flow of capital, more investment to build more homes. We have moved to a law that expands the positive, promotional dimension of how to invest more in order to have more housing,» expressed the Head of State.
Likewise, she highlighted the role of the Legislative Branch and its president, Jorge Rodríguez, in the consolidation of institutional alliances: «National unity allows us to have common strategic objectives and to dedicate ourselves to them,» concluded.
