President Delcy Rodríguez presents results after meeting with Minister for Higher Education and Secretary of the Program for Peace and Coexistence

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a work meeting with the Minister for Higher Education and Executive Secretary of the Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence, Ana María Sanjuan, in order to evaluate the progress of strategic projects in education, social development, and national development.

During the journey, the President assessed the progress of the National University Admission System (SNI), which achieved the selection and admission of 321,197 students to various higher education institutions throughout the country.

It is important to note that among the most sought-after academic fields selected by applicants are Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Psychology, and Petroleum Engineering, prioritizing key areas such as integral health sciences and engineering for the country’s economic development.

During the meeting were also reviewed advances on the Democratic Coexistence and Peace Program, evaluating its various chapters developed in conjunction with social, economic, and political movements through an ongoing dialogue.

The reformed legal framework allows to advance while adapting to the needs of the Venezuelan people, including direct assistance to families affected by the seismic doublet of last June 24th.
