Within the framework of the 72nd anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, paid this Tuesday, July 28 a tribute to the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, reaffirming the enduring relevance of his thought and his profound footprint on Venezuelan history.
Through her official channel on Telegram, the head of state shared a moving commemorative video in which she extolled Chávez’s absolute dedication to the nation and his unwavering commitment to the popular majorities: «His legacy remains in the memory of the Venezuelan people and inspires us to continue working for a nation of peace, social justice, and prosperity,» she expressed in the message.
His thought transcends his personal figure: «Chávez is no longer me, Chávez is a people. And whatever happens, under any circumstances, we will still have a Homeland.”
The presidential address concluded with a call for unity and love for the nation, echoing the words of the founder of the Bolivarian Revolution: “People of the hardships, patriots of Venezuela, men and women, I offer you my humble love as a man and soldier of this land, to share with you this boundless love that encompasses the whole Venezuela.”
