President Delcy Rodríguez announces special jurisdiction and financing plans to protect affected families

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced the implementation of a set of integral measures focused on safeguarding the assets and legal security of families affected by the recent double earthquake in the country.

To guarantee this support, President Delcy Rodríguez requested the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to create a specialized body: «I have requested the TSJ to establish a special jurisdiction to handle civil matters related to property and the identity of persons,» she detailed, while also assuring that those who lost their housings will retain their rights to the land and will receive state support for reconstruction.

Likewise, President Delcy Rodríguez highlighted that the national Executive activated financing schemes through the Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn) Fund, public and private banking, to facilitate the acquisition of homes in the secondary market with extended credit terms, thus reaffirming the institutional commitment to advance in the housing and social recovery of the nation.
