Appointment in Montevideo represents the hope of a peaceful solution for Venezuela

President Evo Morales on Thursday greeted the meeting to be held this day in Montevideo, Uruguay, and said it represents the hope of peacefully solving the situation in Venezuela, a country mired in a political crisis.
He added that people have a moral obligation to defend peace and that history teaches that USA interventions have never solved problems:
“We welcome the meeting of #Uruguay that represents the hope of peacefully solving the situation of #Venezuela and preserving life. The peoples have a moral obligation to defend peace. History teaches that #USA interventions have never solved the problems”, he wrote in his Twitter account.
European and Latin American countries will search in Montevideo for possible formulas for a dialogue mechanism that will allow to overcome the political crisis in Venezuela, following the initiative of Mexico and Uruguay.
For Bolivia will participate Chancellor Diego Pary, who on Tuesday indicated that the solution should be focused on dialogue.
