The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, celebrated via Twitter the global sports leadership of the Golden Generation, after the triumph of Yulimar Rojas at the World Athletics Championship, and the ranking that consecrated the femenine member of the “vinotinto” (Wine-red) Under-17 team as bi-champion of the South American Soccer Championship.
“The Golden Generation carries the flag of Joy and Victory of our country. Congratulations Champion girls” shared the Head of State in his account @NicolasMaduro.
More than 4,200 people gathered at the Metropolitan Stadium in Cabudare witnessed on Sunday the goal by Deyna Castellanos, who at the 49th minute, put the wining point on the scoreboard, as reported RNV Sports.
Yulimar Rojas, from Anzoategui state, claimed a gold medal on Saturday in the indoor arena of the Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, United States.
