1,357 new contagions, all Community transmissions, reported the Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19.
In the last 24 hours, Zulia State registered 245 cases, Yaracuy 171 cases and Barinas 161 cases. During this day 14 Venezuelans died from the virus.
The general statistics of coronavirus in the country are as follows: 232,800 contagions, 214,590 recovered, 15,581 active cases and 2,629 deceased.
This Monday, May 31, 2021, starts a new week of radical quarantine. The population is encouraged to comply with the biosecurity measures for the health of all Venezuelans.
