The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asserted that after his inauguration in January 2025, Venezuela will continue on the path of peace:
“I have no doubt that Venezuela has no other option. Violence, mercenaries, coups d’état, calling for invasions, sanctions, are not an option for Venezuela,” he said.
The President sentenced that the only option for Venezuela is peace, joint work and the union of all and everyone, as he said while ratifying that those who think differently from peace will be defeated.
He recalled that the Revolution has accumulated a beautiful experience in defending the country: “(…) One day we will have to publish how the simple, humble people, the humble soldier and policeman, have a commitment to peace, which is astonishing”.
The Dignitary confirmed that today the dichotomy is easy: peace, democracy versus fascism, so he pointed out that in the face of each mercenary coup, swipe and ambush, we must advance with a greater depth, within the framework of the historical block for the advancement towards a new State.
