The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, urged the Venezuelan people to strengthen the role of community councils in order to strengthen the healthy coexistence and ensure peace in the country.
He also called to strengthen the Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP), for this, he requested the support of each of the members of the different communities in the country.
The CLAP “Are here to stay, to multiply, to expand and enhance their action and thus become the axis of a new local, communal, popular, family, community production and distribution system”, said the National President.
“We must strengthen the CLAP in their organization, distribution, production, and think about future steps,” he manifested, and stressed in the need to advance, particularly to generate products with a Venezuelan brand, and thus overcome the importer model inherited from the Governments of the Fourth Republic, whose authors today aims to get the people on its kneees with an economic war.
