The Minister of People’s Power for Defense, General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López, reported that were resumed the talks on security between Colombia and Venezuela, thus was informed after meeting this Thursday in Caracas with his Colombian counterpart, Luis Carlos Villegas.
The aim of the meeting was to resume talks regarding border security and the fight against organized crime.
Padrino López stressed that both nations must work together to address the threats that attempt against the border, he also affirmed that in recent months the killings have been reduced.
Meanwhile, Luis Carlos Villegas, Minister of Defense of Colombia, said that the two countries continue to work together to combat organized crime.
