The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela expressed its categorical rejection of the report presented by the so-called UN Fact-Finding Mission, calling it a document lacking impartiality and based on political interests.
According to the Permanent Representative of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the UN, Alexander Yánez, the document reflects the same unfounded accusations promoted by extremist groups and funded by organizations such as USAID and the European Union.
During his intervention, Yánez emphasized that the report’s content lacks scientific rigor and is based on politically motivated sources: “When comparing the reaction to this report with one prepared by the fascist Venezuelan opposition, we notice that both coincide in structure and content, which, in addition to being mediocre, demonstrates the lack of impartiality in the intentions and purposes of this invalid mission. This mission constructs its propaganda based on fabricated or politically motivated sources funded by the corruption of USAID.”
“Time and again, the mislabeled fact-finding mission, which has never set foot on Venezuelan soil, demonstrates that its sole objective is to promote regime change that allows for the exploitation of Venezuela and its natural resources. While they attack a sovereign and free people, they ignore the genocide in Gaza, revealing that their true concern is not human rights, but the economic interests of Western powers,” reaffirmed Yánez.
On another point, the Venezuelan representative denounced the forced transfer of more than 200 Venezuelan migrants from the United States to prisons in El Salvador, a process he described as a flagrant violation of human rights: «These actions are protected by a U.S. law dating from 1798, and are carried out without evidence of crimes committed by those affected.»
Finally, he reiterated his stance in defense of the sovereignty and rights of his people, emphasizing that efforts to protect Venezuelan citizens abroad and denounce the injustices committed against them will not cease: «Venezuela will not rest until each of its migrant citizens returns to their homeland and their families.»
