Venezuela expressed its condolences to the people of the United States, after the attack happened in New York that left 8 people dead and 12 people injured.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its sincere condolences to the People and Government of the United States of America after the lamentable attack perpetrated in New York City today, October 31, 2017, and in which at least 8 people lost their lives, and more than a dozen were injured.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deepest solidarity with all the victims and relatives of these terrible events, while strongly condemning this and any other act of violence whose purpose is to cause terror in the population.
On behalf of the People and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we raise our prayer for the prompt recovery of the wounded, for the rest of those who lost their lives and for the consolation of their families. Likewise, we hope that those responsible for this reprehensible act will be brought to justice, and that the courageous people of New York will quickly overcome this unfortunate event. “
