Through an official statement from the Chancellory, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela warned of the risks and conditions that could face those planning to travel to or currently in the United States.
The statement details the increase in “arbitrary” immigration control measures against our fellow citizens: “There have been documented cases of arbitrary detentions, deportations without cause, confiscation of property and documents, as well as discriminatory and humiliating treatment by US authorities.”
Venezuelan citizens in the United States are advised to “exercise extreme caution due to the increase in violent incidents and the implementation of regulations that restrict fundamental rights, which could compromise their safety and well-being.”
