In a meeting with the country’s communal circuits, President Nicolás Maduro activated the 5th Transformation, and jointly highlighted the intention to continue the changes based on the 7 transformations.
The Head of State stressed that the initiative is aimed at highlighting great achievements in agroecological regenerative agriculture: «Only with the producing people can we achieve these great goals,» he said.
During his speech, President Maduro announced the appointment of Julio César León Heredia, governor of the state of Yaracuy, as Minister of People’s Power for Agriculture and Productive Lands.
«It’s time for you to come to the National Government,» declared the president, recognizing Yaracuy’s political organizational experience as an example to follow.
The president also insisted on the importance of configuring the concept of Productive Agroecological Regenerative Agriculture.
He pointed out that the objective is to “produce organic food for Venezuelans, replace all imports and develop an export vocation” through the Agro-ALBA project.
The national President urged to meet with the project team to recover all farms and estates in the hands of the State. “They all have to be productive together with the people and overcome the errors and corruption of the people to whom those farms have been handed over,” said President Maduro.
The initiative is part of the work agenda for the activation of the 5th Transformation towards advancing towards a prosperous future, as contemplated in the 2025-2030 Plan de la Patria (Homeland Plan).
Multipurpose conuco:
Starting from the construction of a Venezuelan concept aimed at the productive regeneration of the land, the president emphasized the need to recover the concept of the regenerative multipurpose conuco (small farm), which is “an inheritance from the indigenous people, to take care of Pachamama and the land,” he emphasized.
He added that currently the Bolivarian Government remains in perfect harmony and with the proven experience. “We have the plan, the country project, the people, the popular-military-police fusion and a president committed to this revolutionary project to the core. And most importantly, God is with us, God is with Venezuela,” concluded President Maduro.
