The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, revealed during the “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, that the United States through the Treasury Department gave more than 1.8 billion dollars to the sectors of the extreme right wing through the Súmate organization, for their operations in the country.
He also indicated that the report reflects the amount of money given to the right wing for its destabilizing plans in Venezuela, to the Súmate organization: “I have this information, but I also have which political party they gave money to. It is at your service, gentlemen of the United States, so that you can see how much they get there. If the FBI is seriously investigating, no one is safe there,” warned Cabello.
He stressed that “these sectors did indeed get involved with the gringos. They stuck with the gringos, they got involved. These are the real involved.” Cabello stressed that this information is worth gold, “here is the source of financing, who they gave money to, and it is not USAID, this hurts the gringos more because it is the Treasury Department, the evidence is at your disposal, you have it, don’t play dumb.”
Cabello questioned that the report says that they gave resources to Súmate, to operate in the Congo. What did Súmate have to do in the Congo? It’s strange, right? It also talks about investments in agriculture in Venezuela and “they have never planted a topocho bush,” in the elections they also gave them money, “who would want to win elections like that,” he asked.
He also detailed that the amount of 10.5 million dollars was donated to the Venezuelan far right wing for the 2024 electoral issue, and likewise, more than 8.5 million dollars were granted to the international organization «Transparencia Electoral” (Electoral Transparency).
