In an extraordinary session, the National Assembly (AN) rejected the rude and interventionist decision adopted by the Spanish far right wing in the Congress of Deputies, on the disowning of the popular victory of Nicolás Maduro Moros, as constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and where they intend to recognize the asylum seeker, Edmundo González Urrutia.
The president of the AN, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, in that sense, indicated to the Spanish congress: «You should be ashamed to repeat that barbarity that was committed in 2019 by appointing an illiterate, a functional illiterate as interim president. I will not say what that meant for the people of Venezuela who fought against the entire world and defeated them all along. Juan Guaidó is nothing more than a thief, he is nothing more than a millionaire who enjoys the honey of the money he stole. You are again committing the same folly, stupidity, foolishness, imbecility and you are doing it again and decide and arrogate to yourselves the function of the CNE because you do not even know the laws of Venezuela.”
“Spain is today a refuge for murderers, coup plotters, violent people. Because in the face of the claims of an eight-year-old child who was murdered by Julio Borges, why does the Spanish justice system not extradite Julio Borges? Not for his political crimes and violent actions, which are many, not for having requested criminal sanctions, why have they not authorized the extradition of Julio Borges? Because they defend a murderer of children. That murderer is protected by the government of Spain,” he added.
To break relations:
In this sense, the deputy Jorge Rodríguez pointed out that he will ask the national government to break (diplomatic) relations with the Kingdom of Spain, also commercial relations, “so that flights between Spain and Venezuela cease, and that all commercial activities with Spanish companies cease immediately. This is the most brutal outrage of the Kingdom of Spain against our country.”
“We have not captured human beings to make them work to death, we have not sold weapons to any country. Everything we have is for our defense, everything we have is for the care of our people. We, respectful as we are, do not interfere in the internal affairs of any country, that is why this outrage is unacceptable and immediately creates an anti-Venezuelan climate and generates a lying, deceitful climate against Venezuela, it is unacceptable, we are not going to stay with that,” he added.
Also present at the debate was MP Tania Díaz, who denounced that the Spanish Parliament had become a spokesperson for international fascism by supporting the acts committed by the Venezuelan far right wing, while other countries in the world are experiencing moments of uncertainty due to various financial interests.
