President Maduro inaugurated “Siervo de Jesús Granados” Stadium in Charallave

This Wednesday afternoon, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, inaugurated the “Siervo de Jesús Granados” Stadium in Charallave city, located in Miranda state, intended for the practice of athletics and soccer in its different categories.

The sports venue materialized thanks to the perfect coordination of the National, regional and municipal Government, deploying between December 15, 2023 and March 15 of this year. The main mission of the “Siervo de Jesús Granados” Stadium is to favor the athletes of the Cristóbal Rojas municipality:

The conditioning works included the placement of 7,000 square meters of artificial grass, the application of paint on 5,400 square meters in internal and external areas; and rehabilitation of dressing rooms, bathrooms, walkways and planters.

Likewise, the recovery of 2,500 square meters of the athletics track was carried out, which guarantees spaces for the practice of this discipline at different ages, including older adults.

In parallel with the comprehensive recovery work of the “Siervo de Jesús Granados” Stadium, 120 tons of asphalt were also applied to the Point and Circle area of the Alvarenga Boulevard.

The inauguration of the sports venue was sealed with a friendly meeting between the Unión Atlético de Charallave and Charallave Fútbol Club football schools, as representatives of the 22 academies that live in the municipality.
