AN deputies supervise compliance with the Law for People with Disabilities

The deputies of the Permanent Commission for Integral Social Development of the National Assembly (AN) supervise compliance with the Organic Law for the Inclusion, Equality and Comprehensive Development of People with Disabilities, in which it is planned that they will visit public companies and private throughout the national territory with the purpose of ensuring these regulations.

From the Federal Legislative Palace, the president of the commission, Deputy Rodolfo Crespo, reported it after the presentation of the legislative agenda of the Subcommittee on Social Protection, Missions System and Large Missions for the 2024-2025 term.

In the room, the parliamentarian recalled that this law was sanctioned by the Legislative Branch on March 14, and its purpose is to guarantee the recognition of the human dignity of these Venezuelans, as subjects with full rights.

Crespo proposed continuing the debate on the laws already enacted by the National Executive, such as the Student Participation Law in the Basic Education Subsystem.

In turn, he highlighted that with the Law for Comprehensive Care for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder; Special Law for Workers with Disabilities; Organic Law for the Inclusion, Equality and Comprehensive Development of People with Disabilities, seeks to make them known to citizens.
