President Maduro welcomes Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at Miraflores Palace

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed on April 25 the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, as part of the Peace Diplomacy promoted by the National Government.

The meeting, which was broadcast by the country’s media, was held in Office 1 of Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, and had the purpose of strengthening the bonds of cooperation and friendship that both peoples have maintained since October 29, 1981, when it was consolidated the relationship with the exchange of style notes between both governments.

This brotherly relationship was consolidated with the arrival of the commander, Hugo Chávez, who strongly promoted cooperation in the energy field between these peoples, through Petrocaribe, and in the regional field through CELAC and Alba-TCP.
