The national government makes available to Chile the model of the Peace Quadrants, the concept of civil-military-police union and other programs that it has built to guarantee citizen security, in the fight against criminal and delinquent gangs in the country, and that allowed the disappearance in Venezuela of the violent group called Tren de Aragua (Aragua Train), said this Monday the president of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
“I say publicly to President Gabriel Boric, if you want to talk about these issues, let’s talk personally, because they throw accusations into the air, then the media and networks turn it into a campaign against Venezuela, because we are in an election year and they have revived and invent new campaigns dirty,” he expressed from the “Con Maduro+” program, in the Zona Digital segment, where he answered questions from 10 Venezuelan social communicators.
The proposal was in reference to the case of Venezuelan citizen Ronald Ojeda, who fled after participating in a failed coup attempt in Venezuela and was murdered in Chile. The journalists consulted about the statements of authorities of the Boric Government, which clearly look like an operation that seeks to bomb the binational rapprochement between Venezuela and Chile:
“What corresponds is to speak, because launching statements, the so-called diplomacy of the microphone to confront us, how does it help Chile or Venezuela? Does Boric say something against Venezuela and I go out and answer something against Chile help resolve the issues? “He stated.
He noted that during the Government of the late President Sebastián Piñera, some deserters and criminals were invited by this president to emigrate to Chile. “Let’s be honest, President Boric, and the Foreign Minister of Chile, who hired you in Cúcuta to invade Venezuela on February 23, 2019? The recently deceased Piñera, the Chilean right wing came to support an invasion of Venezuela,” he responded.
“Who gave them support, shelter and declared them politically persecuted? Let’s put things in their place, the cause is the right that took them away and now they are trying to shoot at Venezuela for a problem that is serious and that has a solution,” he added.
“I would like to speak by phone, in person, by video conference or by some means,” added the national leader, referring that he and the Chilean president have agreed on several issues, such as the defense of Palestine, “but on the rest of the issues we have differences. Big ones, but beyond the differences, and if there is a problem and we Venezuelans can help solve it, we are available, President Boric.”
Maduro reiterated that what is required is cooperation, respect and non-interventionism, especially in avoiding interference in the internal affairs of the other country, just as Venezuela does not interfere in Chilean affairs, no one should do so in Venezuelan affairs:
“With respect, dialogue and communication there are many things that can be achieved. So, the response to President Boric, to the Chancellor of Chile himself, who spends his time shooting at Venezuela, I would say calm down, let’s dialogue and talk to combat criminal groups.”
Finally, Maduro stated that Venezuela has Peace Quadrants, a civic-military-police union “and we have made progress in citizen security. I put at your entire disposal this model of pacification and citizen security that has allowed us to put an end to the Tren de Aragua and multiple gangs.”
