“We have reached five million militiamen actively incorporated into our Bolivarian National Militia,” announced this Saturday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the celebration of the 22nd anniversary of the Day of Dignity, thanks to the rescue of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, and the 15 years of Militia Day.
From the outskirts of Miraflores Palace in Caracas, the head of state received the massive march of revolutionary people, to commemorate the popular victory over the fascist dictatorship of Pedro Carmona Estanga and leaders of the right wing, and spoke with the commander of the Bolivarian National Militia, M/G Javier Marcano Tábata.
“We have created more than 600,000 base patrols, each patrol has a militia leader and we must build 1×10 of the patrol boat of the Bolivarian National Militia,” reported Maduro.
He added that the Militia has been organizing by state, municipality, parish and, now, by electoral center, communes and communal council, highlighting that the enemies of the country and the foreign representatives of the North American empire must take, because the Venezuelan men and women are preparing to defend their peace and independence.
Marcano Tábata said that there are 655,300 patrol leaders, and each patrol has 10 militiamen. They are currently organizing to complete the Territorial Action Brigades (BTA).
The national leader reiterated, once again, that if the stateless right wing and imperialism come again to attack the Bolivarian Government or against the president himself, the order is to be calm, with nerves of steel and maximum civil-military mobilization.
