President Maduro ordered the immediate rehabilitation of 66 hospitals in the country

The Head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro Moros, ordered this Tuesday the formation of a civil-military commission to carry out immediate tasks to rehabilitate the life-saving services in the 66 hospitals with the highest resolution capacity in the country.

This commission will be integrated by the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense, the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB) and the Ministry of People’s Power for Health, who will be responsible for carrying out the repairs to the health centers “in a practical manner” and in the shortest possible time.

“It is a task force with practical capacity for the installation, repair and recovery of these 66 hospitals, right now!” instructed Maduro.

The works contemplate the rehabilitation of emergency areas, trauma shock units, operating rooms, intensive care units, interventional cardiology services, coronary care, among others.

On the other hand, the President approved the creation and strengthening of the state’s electro-medical teams for the corrective maintenance of medical and non-medical equipment and hospital services.

“Things have to work, we are moving forward and you tell me what is needed”, said Maduro while urging the articulation between institutions and specialized training centers in the electro-medicine area in order to achieve this goal.

Likewise, the Venezuelan President instructed to consolidate an automated network of storage, distribution and control of health supplies directly linked to the robotized warehouses, with the health establishments and state warehouses, in order to strengthen the fleet of vehicles for loading and supervised distribution.
