President Maduro receives notification of the start of the 2024-2025 session term of the AN

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, receives this Monday the notification of the beginning of the 2024-2025 period of ordinary sessions of the ratified National Assembly (AN).

The meeting – which takes place in the Simón Bolívar Hall of Miraflores Palace – brings together the deputies of the Homeland Bloc, led by the president of the National Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, the first vice president, Pedro Infante, and América Pérez as second vice president.

Last Friday, January 5, the President celebrated the ratification of the Board of Directors of the AN:

I congratulate the new Board of Directors of the true and only National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the 2024-2025 term, who today ratify their commitment to being the faithful defenders of a historical cause and a project for the Homeland,” he expressed to through his @NicolasMaduro account on the X social network.

In context, the Legislative Branch has approved 74 laws of great impact “to create new job opportunities, rebuild the economy, recover the social welfare state and expand the political rights and freedoms of Venezuela,” highlighted the Dignitary during a meeting held on Thursday, January 4, with deputies from the Homeland Bloc.

Accompanying the Head of State are the first combatant and deputy to the AN, Cilia Flores de Maduro, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, among other authorities and legislative representatives of the different political currents that make life in the National Assembly.
