Confirmed advance in hydrocarbon production in Zulia

The Minister of People’s Power for Petroleum, and also president of PDVSA, Pedro Rafael Tellechea, confirmed the advance in Zulia state of the plan for the sustained recovery of hydrocarbon production in the region.

He toured the Lagogas 5 and 6 plants, to supervise the conditions of the remote start work, as well as the Bajo Grande Shipping Terminal, in the San Francisco municipality, to verify the potential for reactivation of the La Planta Asphalt producer refinery number 2.

At the José Félix Ribas dock, he observed the start-up of the Templario crude oil collection vessel. Also, he evaluated the reconditioning of the boats Craf 29 and Caminamar, and the operation of the mass passenger transport boat Craf 53.

To end this day, he held an assembly with the workforce of the mixed company Pdvsa Petroregional del Lago, accompanied by the Board of Directors, also made up of representatives of the partner Maurel & Prom Iberoamericana S.L. (M&P).
