Maduro proposes creation of ALBA TCP Media Defense Center

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, proposed to the Heads of State and Government of the countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Trade Treaty of the Peoples, to create a High Technology Center for Media Defense.

During the 19th Summit held in Caracas on the occasion of the Battle of Carabobo, the Venezuelan head of state stated that some decisions were recently taken at the ALBA media summit, however, one cannot rest because the countries of the alliance are victims of digital and media colonialism:

“We continue to be victims of an almost absolute hegemony in the big media, the news agencies that also manage social networks at will to destabilize progressive countries and defend the interests of the world power of the right wing and its transnationals”, stated Nicolás Maduro.
