Maduro: Venezuela nourishes on the morals of Bolívar to advance towards the future

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asserted this Thursday that the people of Venezuela is nourished by the strength and morals of the father of the Homeland, Simón Bolívar, to move towards a victorious future:

Today we sing to our Father Bolívar, Liberator of the Great Nation, forger of the noblest dreams of justice and brotherhood. 190 years after his passage into eternity, the Venezuelan people is nourished by his spiritual and moral strength, to continue making way for the victorious future,” wrote the head of state through his account on the Twitter social network.

The message of the National President is accompanied by an audiovisual material that recounts the feats of Bolívar for the freedom of the peoples.

In addition, the head of state highlights that the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, took up Bolívar’s project, which today has become a people.

Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacios Blanco, known in Latin America and the world as El Libertador (The Liberator), was born in the city of Caracas on July 24, 1783. His parents were Colonel Don Juan Vicente Bolívar y Ponte, and Mrs. Concepcion Palacios Blanco.

At the age of 14 he began to get involved in what would become his military career, in 1799 he traveled to Madrid, Spain, to dedicate himself to studies; Bolívar stood out among his contemporaries for his talents, his intelligence, his will and self-denial, qualities that he put at the service of a great and noble undertaking: that of liberating and organizing for civil life many nations that today see in him a father.

On December 17, 1830, Bolívar died of illness in Santa Marta, Colombia. His mortal remains, brought to Venezuela in 1842, currently rest in the National Pantheon
