President welcomed pronouncement by Fedecámaras on the cessation of sanctions

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed this Monday the statements offered by the new president of the Venezuelan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Production (Fedecámaras), Adán Celis, who joined the voices calling for the end of the sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union against the South American nation.

In his “Con Maduro +” program, the Head of State described as “a sensible voice” the businessman’s statements in which he branded as frantic to those people who support coercive actions against Venezuela:

“I believe it and it is so, who can ask for their family to be harmed?” illustrated President Maduro, for which he welcomed this “statement by Fedecámaras, “And I tell the sensible sectors of the country, beyond partisan or ideological colors, that we unite all the efforts of Venezuela to demand that the sanctions against Venezuela be lifted”.

The Dignitary ratified that Venezuela has the right to an economic and social life free of sanctions and to make “our own paths and decisions in all frameworks of politics and society.”

He specified that if there is any consensus today in Venezuela, it is the consensus of rejection and repudiation of the sanctions by the United States against Venezuela, “because they are sanctions against the entire country.”

The Venezuelan President exalted that “such a powerful and great consensus had never been achieved before,” and took the opportunity “to greet this statement by Adán Celis, as well as to congratulate him on his election in this organization.”
