The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized that with the departure from the Organization of American States (OAS), Venezuela broke the chains of domination and never more will return to them.
During his “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer) program, Cabello pointed out: “Imperialism and its lackeys will never again impose their decisions on us, goodbye OAS, may you do well, today we shout to the world: We Shall Overcome!”.
He stressed that the Venezuelan people is executing an heroic act, equal or greater than the heroic acts of the people in the struggle for independence: “Today we are facing the most powerful empire in the world”, he said.
“You do stay with Almagro, with Pompeo and Trump, loved by so many! Here we do not accept tutelage from anyone”, he said.
“Never again will we be anyone’s slaves, we are free, we are independent, no more ministries of colonies, no more imperialism”, he concluded.
