During the working journey from the Macuto parish, in La Guaira state, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, inspected the rehabilitation works carried out by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles), in the “Comandante Hugo Chávez” Comprehensive Health Center and from there he reiterated that the Bolivarian Government guarantees the fundamental rights of the Venezuelans as a model “of the new world”:
“I remember that when I created the Military Community Brigades, they began to attack us from abroad, they put out a headline from the Spanish El País newspaper: (saying that) Maduro militarizes schools and hospitals; They don’t understand us, they can’t understand us because we are building a new world,” said the national president.
In the journey dedicated to the balance of the first semester of 2023 of the Bricomiles for Health, the Head of State highlighted the effort in civic-military union of this management that was born to improve schools and medical care centers, in the midst of a diffuse war that has given the country more than 900 illegal imperialist sanctions, preventing the proper development of infrastructure maintenance, among other aspects.
He added Maduro that “in Venezuela a new national identity is reborn, while others dedicate themselves to intrigue, to gossip, to rant about Venezuela, to politicking, we dedicate ourselves to constructive work with concrete results.”
Accompanied by the first combatant woman, Dr. Cilia Flores de Maduro, the President of the Republic reiterated that the Bricomiles have represented a miracle: “The Bricomiles unify all the efforts of the community, of the People’s Power, of the ASICs, Health Committees, with the military effort. We put more investment and more effort where it deserves, so I am very grateful for the effort and work that is being done”.
