COVID: Venezuela registers 1,188 community cases and recovery rate is at 92%

This Wednesday, the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism Freddy Ñáñez, reported that the country registered 1,188 new infections of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, all by community transmission. While the recovery rate of all cases is located at 92 percent, with 217,798 recovered patients registered thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

The cases of community transmission are distributed (by state) as follows: Yaracuy (251), Falcón (186), Zulia (135), Barinas (99), Apure (91), La Guaira (81), Monagas (61), Caracas ( 56), Aragua (41), Lara (36), Miranda (30), Bolívar (29), Nueva Esparta (25), (Sucre 17), Portuguesa (15), Guárico (10), among other states.

Likewise, it specified that Yaracuy state is the entity with the highest number of infections in 11 of its 14 municipalities: San Felipe (71), Independencia (48), Cocorote (31), Nirgua (30), Peña (24), Bruzual (13), La Trinidad (8) Aristides Bastidas (7), José Antonio Páez (7), Manuel Monge (7) and Veroes (4).

Through the Twitter social network, the minister also reported that “Unfortunately, we reported 13 new deaths to reach (a death toll of) 2,674: 2 men aged 34, 67 years and 2 women aged 52, 53 years from Anzoátegui; 2 women aged 58, 83 years and a 39-year-old man from Sucre; a 62-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman from Miranda; a 72-year-old man from Apure; a 58-year-old woman from Nueva Esparta; a 62-year-old man from La Guaira. Condolences to their families and relatives”, he said in the thread of tweets.

Likewise, Ñáñez stressed that “this Wednesday we have reached 60 disinfection journeys, covering 7,390,000 public spaces throughout the country thanks to Mission Venezuela Bella, in order to combat Covid-19 and guarantee protection to the entire Venezuelan people”.
