Venezuela registered 1,049 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, 1,036 cases are community transmissions and 13 cases are imported.
This was announced by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, through her account on the Twitter social network.
Miranda is the state that presented the most new community cases, 323, with active infections in 15 municipalities; followed by the entities: Caracas (287 cases), Yaracuy (76) and Sucre state (58 cases).
“Tomorrow, January 17, continues the open flexibilization in our country. The virus is not gone, and therefore it is essential to maintain biosecurity measures and to get vaccinated. We must strengthen prevention and special care. All and everyone to protect health”, highlighted Rodríguez.
