The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his joy at being able to reach out to him through the great collective effort of the Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV):
“I am happy to be able to lend my hand through the great collective effort of the GMVV, which guarantees the Venezuelan family a home and a safe roof for their future. Together, as a people, we are making it possible. A true miracle that is going onwards”, This was stated by the head of state, through his social networks.
The Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV), was born on April 30, 2011, in response to the historic housing crisis, generated by the governments of the 4th Republic. Thus, at the beginning of that year, Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez made the decision to carry out the most ambitious housing plan in the country’s history.
The leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, assumed the commitment to build 2 million homes between 2011 and 2019, which to date, in 2023, exceeds 4 million homes, under the continuity of President Nicolás Maduro.
Currently, the Ministry of People’s Power for Habitat and Housing is directed by Ildemaro Villarroel, who works hand in hand with the national Government, to respond to the housing problem of the Venezuelan people.
“I am glad to be able to extend my hand through the great collective effort of the GMVV, which guarantees the Venezuelan family a home and a safe roof for their future. Together, as a people, we are making it happen. A true miracle that goes onwards”
