Bolivarian Government supports actions undertaken by the Public Ministry

The Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted the work that has been done from the Public Prosecutor’s Office headed by the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, after investigations that have discovered corruption signs within the public oil company PDVSA .

Through his personal account on the Twitter social network @jorgerpsuv, the head of the communications portfolio supported the investigations that led to the arrest of Eulogio del Pino, former Minister of Petroleum, and Nelson Martínez, former president of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) , both linked to corruption crimes.

“The Bolivarian Government of Nicolás Maduro vigorously supports the actions undertaken by the MP against the corrupt mafias entrenched in our oil industry”, he said.

In another tweet, he declared that the Revolutionary Government is the most interested in dismantling the mafias present in the state-owned company that generates the main income in foreign currency to the country and, with it, the greatest support to the Venezuelan people.

“For some time now, in the face of worrying signs, we have requested a thorough investigation into the dismantling and action of the justice against these mafias. Let it be clear that anyone who violates his oath of allegiance and violates the confidence that the Bolivarian Government has put in, will be persecuted and punished by justice”, he ratified.

Rodríguez sent a message of congratulations and support to the PDVSA workers, who have expressed their commitment to the work they are doing.

“Together with the heroic workers of PDVSA, on Tuesday, November 28, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, asked his working class for support for these measures, and endorsed the slogan of the country’s decent workers: Cleaning in Venezuela” , he expressed in another message.
