Ban Ki-moon and President Maduro will meet on Thursday to coordinate humanitarian aid to Haiti


The Chancellor of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on Monday night that the Venezuelan Head of State, Nicolas Maduro, proposed to organize a meeting in order to coordinate international humanitarian aid for Haiti, during the Habitat III World Conference which takes place in Quito, Ecuador.
Through her account on the Twitter social network @DrodriguezVen, he explained that Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) agreed with President Maduro to hold this meeting on Thursday.
It is noteworthy that the nation of Haiti was severely affected by Hurricane Matthew, which left behind a lot of injured, dead people and innumerable material losses.
