Clap, militias and Sundde will fight speculation and bachaqueo

The president of the National Superintendence for the Defense of Socio-Economic Rights (Sundde), William Contreras, detailed the activation of the 985 points of denouncing and the activation of operations and actions against speculation throughout the whole country.
He manifested that this plan will be in charge of monitoring the entire distribution of foodstuffs, once they arrive in Venezuelan territory, working in articulation with the Great Mission Sovereign Supply (Gmas) and the Local Committees of Supply and Production (Clap), to establish the 985 epi-centres distributed at a national level, that seek to definitively defeat the speculation, the hoarding and the “bachaqueo” (hoarding and usury reselling).
Contreras reported that the denounces will be received through the Infocentros, for being the most accessible spaces in all communities. “We think this is the right infrastructure to create a meeting between the Clap, the militia, the security agencies, and the organized community,” he said.
He stressed that it is important to give the Clap the authority to sanction irregularities, without the need for a prosecutor. “We must delegate to the Clap the power to definitively sanction the irregularities, that there is not only left to the acting of a prosecutor or a bureaucrat, but to be the organized community itself that carries out that process.”
This alliance will have more than 22,600 Clap activated, 5,734 special spokespersons, 3,000 Sundde prosecutors and officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.
