The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced at the celebration of the National Day of Feminist Socialism, the creation of an Integral Cancer Center for Women, in order to provide comprehensive, timely, free and quality health care.

On the other hand, the deputy of the National Assembly, María León, thanked the support that the Bolivarian Government has given to the struggles of Venezuelan women, because at the beginning of the revolution, the combatant and revolutionary woman was not visible.
León stated: “The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, created a special commission to study the causes of machismo and propose the tools for its eradication, since the origin of gender violence is found in a violent society, based on machismo”.
