“We demand President Joe Biden not to manipulate the issue of migration from Latin America and the Caribbean, and less so with the issue of Venezuela (…) He lies about Venezuela, he lies about the figures of Venezuelan migration and he intends to criminalize it.”
This was demanded on Tuesday by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, after denouncing that the US government does not offer a professional, serious, or humane treatment on the subject.
The Head of State assured that the objective of this aggression is to criminalize migrations (processes that date back many years in the world) and political manipulation through lies:
«They only try to use -the issue of migration- to attack a country, in this case, to attack Venezuela, to attack Cuba and attack Nicaragua”, he emphasized.
Back to the Homeland:
The national president, during his participation in a journey of balance of deployment of the BRICOMILES-Education, from Valles del Tuy in Miranda state, recalled all the actions that the White House has carried out to try to collapse the Bolivarian Homeland:
«Venezuela has been squeezed, attacked, sanctioned, and part of the population made the decision to migrate,» he said.
However, he stressed that despite these destabilizing actions, «more than half the population that emigrated between 2018 and 2021 has returned to Venezuela, they are returning and are welcome in the Vuelta la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan”, he stressed.
Political Manipulation:
The Head of State reiterated that they are “trying to use politically the suffering of a group of the Venezuelan population, which in the face of sanctions and the economic war made a personal decision to migrate to other places. The vast majority have come back to work and the vast majority who have returned are working and doing better than the countries where they went”.
