Day 966 Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 12 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 12 new COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 2 are community cases and 10 imported cases, which brings the total confirmed to 546,110, with 609 active cases, while the number of recovered it is located in 539,678 patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Sunday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily review offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

She reported that the community cases are located in the states: Caracas (1) and Yaracuy (1).

Caracas and Yaracuy today present the highest number of infections in: San Pedro Parish (1), Cocorote Municipality (1).

The 10 imported cases came from: Spain (7), Mexico (2), Dominican Republic (1).

Finally, the death of a 61-year-old man in Zulia state was reported, to reach 5,823 in the national territory.

In week 138 and day 966 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

Total infections: 546,110.

– Patients recovered: 539,678: (99%).

Current active cases: 609.

Total deceased: 5,823.
