In the spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, members of the Youth from all over the country of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Jpsuv, celebrated this Monday its first 14 years of life, in a journey of high revolutionary morale, together with the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during which they reiterated the commitment of the Venezuelan youth in the consolidation of socialism in the country.
During his intervention in the activity, the president of the PSUV emphasized that it is necessary to persevere in the construction of the revolutionary process:
“I ask the youth for moral and perseverance, do not abandon the energy that will lead you to change this world and install socialism. See yourself in the rotten mirror of those that have betrayed and who now can’t even be seen face to face,” he said.
“To say JPsuv is to say the entire homeland,” declared the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The Head of State recalled that more than 56,000 young people were elected as heads of community, street and UBCh throughout the country, during the process of renewing their cadres, in development in the red awning.
To write the History and the future of the Homeland:
During the emotional ceremony and in recognition of the achievements of the revolutionary youth, President Nicolás Maduro presented the leadership of the Jpsuv with the golden pen of the Great Marshal of Ayacucho:
“In the name of our country, I want to give you a very important symbol for the youth, to give the entire revolutionary youth the Golden Pen of our Great Marshal of Ayacucho Antonio José de Sucre, so that you may go to write history, to write the future,” he said.
The symbol was received by Ada Martínez, the youngest head of UBCH in the entire national territory; the general secretary of the JPSUV, Grecia Colmenares, and other members of the party’s youth:
“Our Commander Chavez planted love and awareness in the youth, and that continues to multiply,” said Martinez.
Congress of the Jpsuv:
First thing in the morning, at the facilities of the “Simón Bolívar” Park, in La Carlota, the Jpsuv installed the 4th Youth Congress, an event that will bring together the young representatives of the party from all over the country.
In this context, the president of the PSUV instructed the holding of an upcoming meeting, specifically “with the young leaders of the working class of the country.”
“You must also do a job in the cultural sector of the country, the Youth of the Party should do that, with the musicians, with the System of Orchestras”, he said.
In the same way, he ordered for everything that needs to be updated in organizational matters to be updated: “the Revolution has to be permanent change, permanent improvement.”
He directed the youth of the red party “to prepare for the great victory of the presidential elections of the year 2024 and the joint elections of the National Assembly, governorships and mayors in 2025.”
He also urged the members of Jpsuv to permanently apply the 3R.NETS to the statutes, the organization booklet and the work plan “for the times to come.”
He also requested the Youth Training School to be rehabilitated: “It is very important to revitalize and relaunch the Antonio José de Sucre National Youth Training School to politically, ideologically and comprehensively train the leaders we have,” he concluded.
