With the participation of 2,700 men on Monday was held the military exercise “Patria Chavista (Chavista Homeland) I- 2016”, which aimed to measure abilities and training of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
From the Air-Naval Base “Antonio Diaz” located in La Orchila, Admiral Flanklin Monplasier said that for the making of this exercise were deployed 147 ships of the Bolivarian Navy, 20 amphibious tanks, five helicopters and F-16 planes “In order to prepare ourselves for the defense of our territory”.
“We have seen a great exercise, where we have innovated in the use of our weapons”, said the Admiral during a broadcast by Venezolana de Television.
He also stressed that was made a shot from an ocean platform to a given target as part of the military operations “that make see the Venezuelan Infantry Navy as one of the best equipped in Latin America.”
