Public Ministry issues arrest warrant against Carla Angola for inciting the assassination of President Nicolás Maduro

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced that the Public Ministry issued an arrest warrant against the citizen Carla Angola, for the alleged commission of the crime of advocating for the assassination, after openly calling for the assassination of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, a crime provided for and sanctioned in article 285 of the Penal Code.

The request was made before a State Court of First Instance in Control Functions of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Caracas, as reported the highest authority of criminal action in the country.

In recent days, during the broadcast of a program on a US television network, Angola referred to the assassination of Al Qaeda’s second-in-command and asked his interviewee: “Why don’t they do the same with Nicolás Maduro?” clearly inciting for the assassination of the national president.
