President Nicolás Maduro creates Economic Engine of Entrepreneurship

In the framework of a new Productive Wednesday journey, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced the creation of Engine 18 of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda to directly serve the country’s entrepreneurs:

«Economic engine 18 of the entrepreneur men and women, to serve them closely, so that they do not lack anything because there are thousands of them. It is an engine that is strongly incorporated this 2021 and its future lies in financing”, said the national president.

In his intervention during the activity, the national president also announced the activation of the digital platform www.emprenderjuntos.gob.ve, a web portal that will serve as “an integration platform for all entrepreneurs to boost the country’s real economy.”

He explained that it is a platform for the integration of business initiatives, through which a national entrepreneurship network can be registered and will operate.

In this sense, he stressed that the initiative allows to contribute to “democratize capital”, for this reason he asked the Banco de Venezuela bank to evaluate the creation of a special credit portfolio for entrepreneurs throughout the national territory.

“You have to look for the entrepreneurs, support them from the point of view of their banking facilities, finance them and accompany them at a technological level”, he said.

In this regard, he emphasized that “we are paving the way for national development, despite the criminal blockade, which our model has always claimed.”

“In Venezuela there are coming times of social prosperity and economic growth,” he stressed.

Maduro explained that to date 178,668 enterprises have been formalized through the Patria System, as part of the Law for the Promotion and Development of New Enterprises.

The head of state also urged “to change everything that must be changed” at the legal level to expand the enterprises, particularly artisan beverages.

For her part, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, said that with this act, is being honored to the Law of Promotion for the development of Entrepreneurs, approved by the National Assembly a month ago.
