The People’s Power Minister for the Penitentiary Service, V/A Celsa Bautista, reported on the activation of the updating of personal and legal data of the population deprived of liberty, with the implementation of a biometric registration system.
The minister described through her account on the Instagram social network that this mechanism will be able to carry complete, personal and family data of the prison population, in addition to optimizing processes and expediting redemption requests, computations, psychosocial evaluations, which will allow for a control on any medical conditions that may be had.
The portfolio holder reported that these actions are carried out, with the aim of improving the processes in the registration and control of penitentiary data, and in this way advance in the actions that allow expediting the processes of the penitentiary system.
