The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated his call to the entire population to maintain biosecurity measures to prevent Covid-19 infections in the country:
“People of Venezuela! We are going to maintain care against the coronavirus, I will not tire of repeating this, it is still present, circulating everywhere. Prevention is the key!”, assured the Head of State on Twitter, this Saturday.
859 days after the arrival of the pandemic in Venezuela, the country registers 531,963 confirmed cases, 4,017 active cases and 522,191 recovered people, which represents 98% of the infections, as reported by the Minister for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez:
“To date we have 2,515 patients who are asymptomatic, 1,228 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 203 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 71 in the Intensive Care Units”, said the minister on his Twitter account.
