Venezuela will receive containers of medicines from Russia and China

Carlos Alvarado, Minister of People’s Power for Health, reported this Tuesday that a good number of containers of medicines will arrive monthly in Venezuela during 2019, thanks to the alliance with Russia and China that allows to avoid the criminal blockade against the Bolivarian nation:
“These are medicines enough to supply the health system as long as we can bring them in a timely manner”, he said, and also stressed that these drugs will arrive in the country despite the fact that the Creole and international right wing, led by the United States, has imposed a criminal blockade in their attempt to prevent the arrival of medicines, vaccines and medical equipment.
“Venezuela already has very important amounts of vaccines and retrovirals, among other medicines, that have arrived by air from Russia and China, with which is being covered the demand”, he said.
He also recalled that “we have some international purchases still blocked”, referring to the blockade of accounts with more than 16 million euros with which could be paid lots already negotiated and bought but not shipped due to the international bank refusal to transfer the funds to the suppliers.
Finally he spoke about the electricity and water contingency after the terrorist blow perpetrated against the National Electric System (SEN), Alvarado warned that the attack was planned, “absolutely orchestrated”, in his opinion the health system is a crucial element to which the attack was directed.
