The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his appreciation to the governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, for his attachment to the revolutionary principle of governing by obeying the people, in reference to the Popular Consultation held this Sunday in the entity.
Through his account on the Twitter social network, @NicolasMaduro, he said:
“I congratulate the great initiative of the young governor leader @HectoRodriguez that fulfills the revolutionary principle of governing by obeying the people. Mirandinos acknowledge him with their extraordinary participation in the Popular Consultation. In Miranda the People rules!”
The Popular Consultation Miranda 2019 was aimed at empowering communities to manage and invest in projects that favor Mirandinos, and the dynamics implemented were to ask the inhabitants of the entity whether or not they approved the transfer of resources to the People’s Power.
